Update From Jamaica ❤️

admin
November 28, 2025

We have been able to make incredible progress this past week thanks to your donations, and we want to share some of the ways your generosity has already changed lives. With your support, we’ve successfully sent over $3,000, which has allowed them to:

1. Get the car repaired and running again — their only transportation to access towns with supplies.

2. Build a temporary shelter to stay in during the rebuilding process.

3. Provide each neighbor with a week of food money, ensuring no one goes hungry.

4. Secure 2 carpenters and 2 helpers to begin rebuilding the home and structures lost.

5. Start external framing, using any existing lumber that wasn’t destroyed.

6. Purchase a portion of the building materials needed to continue reconstruction.

The rains have finally eased, giving them a small window to continue the massive cleanup and make steady progress while they wait for additional building funds to arrive. They are deeply humbled and overwhelmed by your kindness and support. ❤️

We are now working on getting a donated gasoline generator crated and shipped, along with two large barrels filled with dried goods, tools, cleaning supplies, clothing, and more.
Every item makes a difference.

We will continue to share updates as often as we can.
Thank you, truly, for helping this remote community begin to stand again.
